Artist Residency

SFLA Studio invites visionary artists to take over our two prime street-view studio spaces in the heart of Santa Fe’s historic art district. This is more than a studio—it’s a space where creation and connection converge. Here, artists are not only makers but storytellers, engaging with a city that lives and breathes art.

Nestled within a innovative artistic environment that blends immersive experiences with fine art, SFLA Studio offers a dynamic platform for emerging talent. We are looking for artists ready to explore, innovate, and transform space into an evolving artistic experience.

Residency Highlights

• A Private Studio in an Immersive Creative Space

Located at street level in the heart of Santa Fe, each 91.63 sq. ft. studio is designed for both solitude and visibility. A large front-facing window (93 inches wide by 59 inches high) offers a rare opportunity to create in full view of passersby, bridging the gap between process and audience. Just just a few blocks from the Santa Fe Plaza, the studio places artists at the pulse of the city’s rich cultural landscape.

• A Shared Apartment with a Stunning View

Artists-in-residence stay in a thoughtfully curated shared apartment, offering panoramic views of Santa Fe. A short walk from the Plaza, this space provides a quiet retreat while keeping artists immersed in the creative energy of the city.

SFLA Studio is building a strong marketing presence to support our resident artists. We are developing social media features, email spotlights, and targeted outreach to collectors and patrons to help amplify your work and connect you with the right audience.

• Launch & Manage Your Own Online Studio

• Offer and connect your art with collectors eager to acquire original pieces

As part of the residency, you’ll have the opportunity to share your expertise by hosting workshops, or engage in collaborative art experiences, further enriching the community.

Self-Funded Residency with Funding Support

This is a self-funded residency, with weekly stays available from Monday to Monday. Residency rates range from $800 – $1,500 per week—inquire for the student rate. While artists are responsible for their residency fees, we provide letters of support and access to our platform to assist in securing independent funding and sponsorships.
